BCA Core Values

At Blair Christian Academy, we feel it is important to educate and nurture children academically, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We also believe that there are specific core values every person should embody, that should begin to be instilled as early as preschool and reinforced throughout childhood so that they are exhibited as adults. These Core Values will be woven into every aspect of our curriculum from Toddlers through 8th grade as we strive to mold the next generation of leaders who will be representatives of Christ upholding the Word of God!

Integrity

Doing what is right, without reward or recognition, because it is right.

Proverbs 21:3

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Love

Choosing to be kind, compassionate, forgiving and understanding at all times.

Colossians 3:13-14

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Strong Work Ethic

Going beyond expectations and doing what it takes to get the job done.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Patience

Ability to wait with kindness, consideration and grace.

Ecclesiastes 7:8

Better is the end of a thing than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

Perseverance

Finish what you start and persist in spite of difficulty. NEVER GIVE UP!

James 1:2-4

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
