Elementary School Program

Grades Kindergarten through Fourth

The elementary grades typically contain 10-15 students per self-contained classrom.  Strong emphasis is placed on studying God's Word, on the basic skill areas of Phonics, Reading, Writing, Language Arts, Listening and Speaking, Mathematics, and on the specialized areas of Art, Music and Physical Education.  BCA is characterized by order and friendliness in its elementary school classrooms. Subjects taught are Bible, Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Computer, Spanish, Music and Physical Education. All students attend weekly Chapel.   

Students are taught respect for one another, for personal property and for those in authority. A close relationship is maintained between parents and teachers for the benefit of each child.

Middle School Program  

Grades Fifth through Eighth

Students in Grades 5 thru 8 are taught by teachers according to subject rather than as a self-contained classroom. This gives continuity in subject matter throughout middle school while allowing younger students to adjust.   Standard courses in middle school include Bible, English, Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Art, Music, Health, Spanish and Computer Science.
